Kampong Glam Community Tour by URA

This Malay Historic District used to be and still is the hub of the Muslim community today. URA gazetted it as a Conservation Area in 1989. Most of the buildings here are shophouses, the majority of which have remained intact over the years, retaining with them the rich culture and history of yesteryears.

Visit Malay Heritage Centre during International Museum Day for free events like silat performance. Tour Sultan Mosque and the beautifully conserved area of Bussorah Mall, Arab Street and narrow Haji Lane. See beautiful architecture at Kandahar St and explore shops in the area.
